Was wir nicht veranstalten wollen, ist Mainstream: Bands, deren grösstes Ziel ist, von ihrer Musik leben zu können, interessieren uns weniger als jene, die für ihre Musik leben wollen. Wir widmen uns eher den interessanten Nischen der Popmusik, lassen uns dabei aber nicht von Genre- und Szenegrenzen einengen: von Hardcore bis Elektronischer Musik, von Country bis Punk, von Pop bis Experiment, hat wohl fast alles schon bei uns gespielt.

Da unsere Fixkosten ziemlich hoch sind und unser kleinerer Raum immer noch 200 Leute fasst, ist es uns leider schon mal aus finanziellen Gründen kaum möglich, Konzerte für richtig unbekannte Bands zu veranstalten. Wir versuchen aber, die Bands, die wir richtig interessant finden, als Supportbands oder auf Festivals einzubinden. Festivals gibt's manchmal kleinere, aber richtig groß und inzwischen schon über 20 Jahre alt ist das jährlich im Herbst stattfindende ENDZEIT Festival, das immer noch auf D.I.Y. Basis ohne jegliche Festgagen etc. funktioniert.

Bevor Ihr Euch die Mühe macht, bei uns wegen eines Konzerts anzufragen, seht erst mal unser Programm durch und überlegt euch, ob ihr da wirklich reinpasst.

Wenn ihr davon überzeugt seid, dann schickt uns am besten eine Email mit einem kurzen Info und einem Link zu einer Website und MP3s.

Wer uns unabgesprochen MP3s oder andere Riesendateien schickt, ist gleich raus! Es ist auch nicht hilfreich, uns diesselbe Mail 5x zu schicken. Dass wir keinerlei Interesse an rassistischen, nationalistischen, sexistischen, homophoben oder religiösen Bands haben, versteht sich von selbst.

Bitte seht uns nach, wenn wir mal nicht antworten. Wir bekommen unzählige Anfragen pro Woche und da ist es leider inzwischen nicht mehr möglich, immer alle zu beantworten. Ihr könnt davon ausgehen, dass wir eure Mail wahrgenommen haben, und wenn wir uns nicht melden, klappt es auch nicht.

Bands whose greatest aim is to earn a living with their music are less interesting for us than bands who live for their music. We dedicate our work to the interesting niches of pop music but don't let ourselves be restricted by the borders of genres or scenes: from punk / hardcore to electronic music, from country to indiepop, from hiphop to jazz, from pop to experimental music almost everything has found its way on our stages.

Our fixed costs are rather high and our small room still is for 200 people so we don't have the financial possibility to organise shows for totally unknown bands. Still we try to find a place for those bands that seem really interesting to us as support. Before you bother asking us for a show please have a look at our programme and check what other bands we had and ask yourselves if your really fit in there. If you think so the easiest way is to send us an email with a short info and a link to a website and mp3s. We instantly delete mails that send us mp3s or other huge files without asking! It also doesn't help to send us the same mail 5 times.

I think it goes without saying that we are not interested in racist, nationalist, sexist, homophobic or religious bands.

Please understand that we sometimes don't have the time to answer all emails. We do this in our spare time and get countless emails a week. You can be sure that we read your email but if we don't get back to you we are not interested in putting up a show.
